TACHOREPORT
Frequently asked questions
Answers about file analysis, time and the map.
Which files can I analyse?
Upload a driver card or vehicle tachograph .ddd file in the analysis view. PDF reports, photos and spreadsheets are not inputs for DDD analysis. Changing a file extension does not change its format.
How do I compare a driver card with a vehicle tachograph?
Upload the card and vehicle .ddd files together. A shared period and driver identification are important for the comparison. A difference is a reason to review the original records, not automatic confirmation of an infringement.
Which timezone and night hours should I choose?
Select the European timezone needed for your analysis and the start and end of the night interval, for example 22:00–05:00. Displayed local times account for daylight saving and standard time. Original UTC records remain unchanged. The selected night interval is a calculation setting.
Why can't I see any points on the map?
The map shows only valid GNSS coordinates contained in the file. There may be no points if coordinates were not recorded or fall outside the selected period. Use the map button to turn it on; tiles are loaded only for viewing. Missing positions are not reconstructed by guessing.
